In modern industrial production and large-scale architectural facilities, temperature control is a critical element in ensuring process stability and safe equipment operation. As the most fundamental and widely used cold-source equipment, chillers continuously supply chilled water at specified temperatures to production lines through the heat-absorbing evaporation cycle of refrigerants. In the vast majority of medium-to-large industrial parks and commercial complexes, large-scale chiller units shoulder the responsibility of overall centralized cooling. Featuring multi-megawatt cooling capacities, these units leverage the efficient and smooth compression characteristics of screw chillers to maintain outstanding energy efficiency during long-cycle, high-load continuous operation, serving as the central cooling hub for entire factories or buildings.

 

Refrigeration system architectures vary to adapt to distinct regional resource constraints and specific production environments. In areas facing water scarcity or where installing cooling towers is impractical, air-cooled chillers achieve flexible, "plug-and-play" installation and low-cost maintenance thanks to their integrated design and air-cooled finned heat dissipation mechanism. However, when application scenarios extend to environments containing flammable, explosive, or highly corrosive media, standard equipment is inadequate, necessitating specialized chemical chillers. These systems feature comprehensive enhancements in electrical explosion-proofing, corrosion-resistant heat exchanger materials (such as titanium alloys or stainless steel), and safety protection circuits, ensuring smooth and reliable operation even under harsh chemical reaction conditions.

 

Beyond standard and medium-to-low temperature cooling, advanced high-tech industries place even extreme demands on temperature control. For example, in specialized processes such as biopharmaceutical purification, petrochemical dewaxing, and cryogenic crystallization, conventional equipment cannot satisfy the rigorous demands of temperatures tens of degrees below zero. In these cases, ultra-low temperature chillers are required to achieve ultra-low fluid supply temperatures via cascade refrigeration cycles or specialized refrigerant blends. In surface treatment fields such as vacuum evaporation coating and magnetron sputtering, film uniformity and adhesion depend heavily on precise, constant temperature control of target and evaporation sources. With millisecond-level response times and high-precision temperature control capabilities, specialized coating chillers effectively safeguard the flawless execution of the coating process.
